Besides the development of network codes, ENTSOG has the obligation to adopt common network operation tools to ensure coordination of network operation in normal and emergency conditions, including a common incidents classification scale, and research plans, as well as recommendations relating to the coordination of technical cooperation between Community and third-country transmission system operators.
ENTSOG shall be active in areas such as gas quality, business rules, units, IT communication and data format in collaboration with other stakeholders in order to provide the necessary tools in the development of Network Codes.
